The HRC nurse called me this morning with good and bad news. They said "E" went in and they found 2 large egg follicles. This is very good because it mean she can produce eggs and her body responded to the medication after all. The bad part is that this must have happened quickly over the weekend and now the doctors are afraid that she might be starting to ovulate. If she is, then the eggs can not be used and we have to stop all of our medicines and start all over again after her period comes and goes. So the doctor will have the results of her bloodwork this afternoon and that will tell us if she has ovulated or not. If she has not begun ovulating, then her retrieval date will be on Thursday and the transfer will be Sunday.
So we are waiting for this afternoons call.
